Break Was TOO Short.

Hi all.I start my classes back up tonight. The break between quarters was way to short.  We were suppose to get a week off between but last week we had to go make up some lost time.  This quarter I have Professional Communications, Group Theory and Email and Web Services. But this last class they are doing online.  I am nervous about that one. But I will do fine. I struggled through Comp one online so I can do it again.

Jeff and I didnt do much this week. He had this last week off for vacation but with my work schedule we didnt do a thing really until yesterday. We went to our Wild Life Sanctuary and walked around and saw the animals. I got a good photo of the Wolf they have finally. She came right up to the fence.  She has never been that close to the fence before.

I miss blogging so much. I miss all of you but it seems no one is blogging anymore. I have been on here since November of 2006 and it seems everyone of my friends have left but a few. Its hard to make new ones. I dont know who to talk to anymore with new friends.  Alot of you have went to Facebook instead of blogging. I have my FB account but I dont use it that often.  Anyway talk to you all soon.

Fun Stuff

Hey all. We have given Kora her riding lessons back.  We are working on things here to make life more bearable for all of us. I have a few photo's and a video of Koras riding lesson last Saturday. It wont let me upload my video. Dang it. its only two minutes long but its giving me troubles. I hate when blogger does that. Anyway here are the photo's. Hopefully they will have her riding outside where I can get better pix of her riding. they have a beautiful one named Sophie.  I didnt get a photo of her but I will try next time we go out there.

Lots going On.

Hey all. How are you. Life has been keeping me away again. I just havent found time lately to do anything fun. I am having a hard time finding time to crochet and have some me time.  But just wanted to drop a few lines and let you all know I am still around and here. I havent left you for Facebook.. LOL..

Brianca and Doug are moving out on Wednesday finally. She is five months pregnant and they wanted to be settled in and get the crib and such set up and just be ready for when the little guy gets here. So they have been busy packing and moving stuff into the garage to move into the Uhaul on Wednesday.

Jeff and I have been struggling with school but doing ok. I am trying to keep my A in comp this quarter but not sure if that will happen.  I am getting a B in my other two classes so far but again not sure if that will stay that way. I graduate in September and we are having a party.  Then Jeff graduates in December so we are having his pregraduation party in September when we have my party. Then we dont have to have two parties. He will be in his last quarter and figured if he doesnt graduate something is terribly wrong.

We bought a new car finally.  Well its a 2005 Ford Taurus. We have had it for about a month now. We had to put a little work into it but its ok. Pomp's had to clean out the rotors and put in a new mount for the engine block.  But they only charged us for the parts since Jeff still works for Pomp's.

I found a job in my field but hopefully this email goes through I just end or I am going to have to call the lady tomorrow.  I hate sounding like a fool but I could have wrote her name down wrong when she gave it to me. It happens.  Its in the IT field but its in doing Data Bases for a place called Neenah Paper Inc here in Wisconsin.  We have finals this coming week.  I cant believe I have 6 months left of school.

Where has time went.  Life has flown away with all my free time.  Anyway I just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing.  I need to get to bed here shortly. I am still working at the Assisted Living place. I told kora the other day, "How can i have a job I love but death is at my back door everyday.

i made this with cotton yarn and edged it with white red heart yarn. its really frilly.

these turned out really cute. i ended up getting on placemat on row  to short but the all match otherwise.

Where or Where have I been lately.

Where have I been lately. Well busy with work, school, kids and getting ready to move.  We have lost our house finally and we have to move this spring sometime. We tried to save it but it just wasnt in our graces to keep it.  Brianca and Doug are moving  out at the end of February finally. They have an apt set up for when they come back from Texas from visiting with her family. Must be nice to have family who can pay your way to come visit.  But anyway lots of stuff going on. 

Jeff and I are almost done with school. I graduate in September of 2013. And he graduates approximately in December 2013.  We are doing well.I have one A and two B's so far this quarter.  Jeff is straight A's.  I am so proud of him. 

We bought a new car to us. its  a 2005 Ford Taurus.  Our Pontiac was on its last legs and I had to deal with it stalling out on me. 

We have a plan for moving. We are getting a nice return so we are going to buy a mobile home and not have to pay a mortgage. We will have lot rent but that is ok.  Its better than wondering where we are going to live or find a place to live and have to worry about our credit. Most places here look at your credit and accept you or deny you because of your credit. 

I dont know where to go from here. I have alot on my mind but trying to keep my thoughts straight.  Kora turned 12 this month on the 13th.  Where have the last 12 years went.  I took her to Chucky Cheese for her b-day. Jeff wasnt feeling well so I took the girls out.   We had pizza and I had a salad. 

I found out I am a diabetic in the middle of last month. Right before x-mas. It hurt really bad. I didnt get to eat all the chocolate and all the foods I normally like over the holidays. My sugars havent been where they should be either yet. She had me on 500 mg of metformin but when i saw here on Jan 22nd she upped that to 1000 mg twice a day.  and they still arent where they should be. My blood sugars should be between 70-100.  but they have been between 106-150 lately.  

Life and its takes on us.  X-mas was ok this year. We didnt get to spend alot of money on everyone. I made my mother in law a pillow with a latch hook rug on the top. I never got a good photo of that with  my camera before giving it to her.  but it turned out really nice.  The girls got some nice stuff this year. I got some fuzzy socks, and jammie pants. Jeff got a new tie, and two new pairs of sweats and MP3 player from Brianca and Doug.  I have alot more photo's but not now. I have some awsome shots from our hotel window when we went to Neenah WI about two weeks ago to a chess tournament. We havent been a mini vacation in ages.

just stuff

Here are some things i have made over the last few weeks. I let the girls take my camera to Jeff's moms house with them when they went for Thanksgiving break and they left it so I have no new photo's.  Just some x-mas stuff I have been working on. I have a new scarf, like four new octopuses, then of course mom and Shari's x-mas present. i bought the rest of that today. 

These are made with a gold hypoallergenic fish hook and Rose Quartz beads.

it still needs six rows but I think I am going to leave it as it is. We have been using it for a year now the way it is.

Its been almost a year!!!!

I crashed our Chrysler almost a year ago on December 2nd, 2011.  I still  have a hard time taking the highway by my self. Its even harder going by the accident spot.  But I have done it and have spilled tears as I was doing it. I am OK going over when I have someone else in the car with me but when I am by myself its really super duper hard.  I have put this family in hard ship with the accident and I regret it.  

We are still working on getting help for our house.  But if we cant we have decided to file for Bankruptcy. There are two kinds we were advised to consider.  We were told to do either a chapter 13 or a 7.  But after all is said and done we may still have to give up our home.  It hasnt been a pleasant ride at all.  

I have been told by certain people that I am getting a  free ride at school. Its not even the teacher this time. I am getting an education I have no clue how to use.  I am doing my best and trying but no one believes me. It hurts my friends.  With all this said and done I feel worthless and just horrible.  

The girls go to grandmas on Saturday until Thanksgiving Day and then we bring them home. Lots going on. Then the week after thanksgiving we have finals.  Then I have IP Networking, Database Concepts, and Comp 2 all at the school this coming quarter. 

I start my new job on Monday. I will be working at a place called Bellvue assisted living. I will be working the kitchen as an Aide.  Helping get lunch ready and then going out and setting tables, getting coffee, juice and what not to the table.  My favorite temp job has let me down this year. I was working full time up to last week where i only worked 1 DAY and havent been called back since. OH well. It happens. I applied for unemployment also.  I hope I can get that going soon. I forgot to call them on Sunday. Hopefully I didnt mess it up.  Anyway I need to get to my homework.

I will miss those that dont blog to much anymore and I miss those that do blog all the time because i seem not to have much time to comment and visit like I used to.  Hope all is well and if I dont get back before Thanksgiving Happy Thanksgiving Day my friends for those that celebrate it here in the States. 

Very Tired and moving right along!!!

Hiya peeps. We have had lots going on here now in the last few weeks.  Jeff ended up in the hospital for this first two hours of his day last Monday.  His psoriasis kicked in and he scratched ended up with  a bad infection. He took his meds for it and it seems to be OK now.  Then on Tuesday I was leaving the school and the cars back passenger break drum finally snapped.  It was squealing and just horrible. I got up the hill that we have to go up to get to the main road but that is where I stopped.  We spent 479.00 dollars there.  That is where the mess ended for last week.

This Monday we found out that Brianca is two months pregnant. She is due June 28th, 2013.  She thinks she knows everything just because. She is one of those people who thinks they know everything and so does her BF that isnt even divorced from his wife yet.  Life is taking a wide turn.  They have to find a place soon where they can start getting ready for the baby. They need everything. Jeff offered her my crib that I was saving for us or the girls later on. I cant have anymore of my own but i would like to adopt after I get settled after school with a good paying job.

I am in alot of pain from work last night.. they do this one job about once a year and it seems I always get put on it at least once.  they are 72 inch bags for drapery poles.  They are a bitch to work with and alot of bending over the table.  I didnt sleep to well last night. My legs kept cramping up on me and I just cleaned the piss out of my house. Something that I havent had time to do in a long time or for that matter blog about anything. I am so tired.

The girls are going to stay with grandma in two weeks for 13 days.  then we are going to go get them on Thanksgiving Day and bring them home.  I have a p resent going for his mom and Shari but I cant post pix quite yet because Shari reads my blog.  I dont want them seeing x-mas  present before its done.  Those of you who want to see it and have my cell number text me and I will send a text photo.

I was asked to do some of those crocheted dish towel tops for a friend of mine. I have never done them before and hoping I can figure them out. she gave me an old towel to work on one first to see how well it turns out and then she bought two brand new towels she wants done.  So I am busy with school and trying to get mom and shari's present done and now this.  But these towels shouldnt take long after I figure them out. Ok peeps I need to get to some home work and studying before class tonight. I will post pix of the towels when I am done.  Talk soon

Oh before i forget here are some of my newest creations. three packer colored wash cloths, and  really soft hat that feels like its made out of velvet..  the dish cloths i am asking eight dollars for and the hat i am asking 15. three dollars for shipping for both of them.  if anyone is interested in home made x-mas presents or wants a different color just let me know ok.
