Lots of Stuff going on the last few weeks.....

Lots have been happening the last few weeks. We have been busy. Last weekend was my first weekend in four weeks I have had off.  The whole WEEKEND!!! WOW!! Yes I enjoyed every minute of it. I spent time with the girls on Friday and then Saturday we went to our local  Amusement park that opened for the season on Weekends till May 31st. Then they are open all the time. We went Mini Golfing before we came home on Saturday. Kora beat us all.  It was a blast. I miss having family time like that and yes there are many pictures to come. Just trying to figure out which ones to  post. Brianna went up on the Ferris Wheel all by her self.  She went up with daddy the first time but then she wanted to do it again and she wanted to try by herself. So we said here are your tickets since the ride takes two tickets and let her go.  My babies are growing up way to fast.

Then on Sunday we got up and I  made breakfast and we went for a medium sized hike and saw alot of turtles.  boy were they out sunning themselves. We went to Barkhausen. I will have to look the link up for you there if you are interested in looking.  We are looking at having my graduation party out there. on September 28th.

I am almost done with school. I have one more quarter after this one. I am nervous. The school is also adding a mandatory class that we all have to take. its an advanced course to one of the first classes we took. We are trying to petition that we dont have to take it but it looks like we are going to have to take it anyway. but anyway i am fustrated with school in a way. one of my classes is online this quarter and the teacher isnt being very helpful. he keeps telling us to call the support hotline.  Then he has the audacity to tell us that we can write a 1200-1500 word document from the videos on the lab that we have to do but we cant access the labs??!! I don't get it.that is all that is getting to me this quarter. I have a few teachers that are vouching for me. I am working on an internship.  Just hoping they call back soon or Monday they are going to get another call from me.

I graduate Thursday, September 26, at about 7 PM. Anyone interested in coming just let me know. I know some of you live far away and its impossible but the graduation is September 26 but my party is Saturday September 28th.  Havent decided what exactly we are doing with it. I have a friend working on some cakes for me.  i wish i could have her do more sophisticated cakes but all she knows how to do is round cakes. I have found some shaped cake pans I would love to use but she doesnt know how to do them.  and I am not a cake decorator.

Jeff is working on something for himself too. he went on a field trip with his electronics class this last Tuesday and found a possible out of Pomp's Tire.  I will tell you all about it if something comes to light on the subject. the girls are both taking riding lessons now.  I do not have pix of there last lesson because my hubby for got my my camera at home.

Also talked to my doctor last Friday and she said if i can lose another 20-30 pounds and keep my blood sugars at about 100-130 we can take me off my meds in November when I have go back and see her. If for some reason they wont keep stable by then she might have to put me on another med. So I am trying my best on dieting and keeping away from anything I shouldnt be taking in like alot of soda, candy, and such.

Ok off to do some photo's for here and then I am going to go spend sometime with my family. Miss you guys terribly. N..

Lets Guess WHO Today!!!

They were scanned in this morning so if they are too small to see i can hopefully adjust them but just guess who. Life is going ok here. I have today off and I have some stuff to do. But first of all I am going to lay down for a couple of hours and get some much needed rest. Hopefully I can sleep tonight if I do just this by laying down. but I am about ready to fall asleep at the desk.Have a wonderful Tuesday my friends.

Break Was TOO Short.

Hi all.I start my classes back up tonight. The break between quarters was way to short.  We were suppose to get a week off between but last week we had to go make up some lost time.  This quarter I have Professional Communications, Group Theory and Email and Web Services. But this last class they are doing online.  I am nervous about that one. But I will do fine. I struggled through Comp one online so I can do it again.

Jeff and I didnt do much this week. He had this last week off for vacation but with my work schedule we didnt do a thing really until yesterday. We went to our Wild Life Sanctuary and walked around and saw the animals. I got a good photo of the Wolf they have finally. She came right up to the fence.  She has never been that close to the fence before.

I miss blogging so much. I miss all of you but it seems no one is blogging anymore. I have been on here since November of 2006 and it seems everyone of my friends have left but a few. Its hard to make new ones. I dont know who to talk to anymore with new friends.  Alot of you have went to Facebook instead of blogging. I have my FB account but I dont use it that often.  Anyway talk to you all soon.

Fun Stuff

Hey all. We have given Kora her riding lessons back.  We are working on things here to make life more bearable for all of us. I have a few photo's and a video of Koras riding lesson last Saturday. It wont let me upload my video. Dang it. its only two minutes long but its giving me troubles. I hate when blogger does that. Anyway here are the photo's. Hopefully they will have her riding outside where I can get better pix of her riding. they have a beautiful one named Sophie.  I didnt get a photo of her but I will try next time we go out there.

Lots going On.

Hey all. How are you. Life has been keeping me away again. I just havent found time lately to do anything fun. I am having a hard time finding time to crochet and have some me time.  But just wanted to drop a few lines and let you all know I am still around and here. I havent left you for Facebook.. LOL..

Brianca and Doug are moving out on Wednesday finally. She is five months pregnant and they wanted to be settled in and get the crib and such set up and just be ready for when the little guy gets here. So they have been busy packing and moving stuff into the garage to move into the Uhaul on Wednesday.

Jeff and I have been struggling with school but doing ok. I am trying to keep my A in comp this quarter but not sure if that will happen.  I am getting a B in my other two classes so far but again not sure if that will stay that way. I graduate in September and we are having a party.  Then Jeff graduates in December so we are having his pregraduation party in September when we have my party. Then we dont have to have two parties. He will be in his last quarter and figured if he doesnt graduate something is terribly wrong.

We bought a new car finally.  Well its a 2005 Ford Taurus. We have had it for about a month now. We had to put a little work into it but its ok. Pomp's had to clean out the rotors and put in a new mount for the engine block.  But they only charged us for the parts since Jeff still works for Pomp's.

I found a job in my field but hopefully this email goes through I just end or I am going to have to call the lady tomorrow.  I hate sounding like a fool but I could have wrote her name down wrong when she gave it to me. It happens.  Its in the IT field but its in doing Data Bases for a place called Neenah Paper Inc here in Wisconsin.  We have finals this coming week.  I cant believe I have 6 months left of school.

Where has time went.  Life has flown away with all my free time.  Anyway I just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing.  I need to get to bed here shortly. I am still working at the Assisted Living place. I told kora the other day, "How can i have a job I love but death is at my back door everyday.

i made this with cotton yarn and edged it with white red heart yarn. its really frilly.

Where or Where have I been lately.

Where have I been lately. Well busy with work, school, kids and getting ready to move.  We have lost our house finally and we have to move this spring sometime. We tried to save it but it just wasnt in our graces to keep it.  Brianca and Doug are moving  out at the end of February finally. They have an apt set up for when they come back from Texas from visiting with her family. Must be nice to have family who can pay your way to come visit.  But anyway lots of stuff going on. 

Jeff and I are almost done with school. I graduate in September of 2013. And he graduates approximately in December 2013.  We are doing well.I have one A and two B's so far this quarter.  Jeff is straight A's.  I am so proud of him. 

We bought a new car to us. its  a 2005 Ford Taurus.  Our Pontiac was on its last legs and I had to deal with it stalling out on me. 

We have a plan for moving. We are getting a nice return so we are going to buy a mobile home and not have to pay a mortgage. We will have lot rent but that is ok.  Its better than wondering where we are going to live or find a place to live and have to worry about our credit. Most places here look at your credit and accept you or deny you because of your credit. 

I dont know where to go from here. I have alot on my mind but trying to keep my thoughts straight.  Kora turned 12 this month on the 13th.  Where have the last 12 years went.  I took her to Chucky Cheese for her b-day. Jeff wasnt feeling well so I took the girls out.   We had pizza and I had a salad. 

I found out I am a diabetic in the middle of last month. Right before x-mas. It hurt really bad. I didnt get to eat all the chocolate and all the foods I normally like over the holidays. My sugars havent been where they should be either yet. She had me on 500 mg of metformin but when i saw here on Jan 22nd she upped that to 1000 mg twice a day.  and they still arent where they should be. My blood sugars should be between 70-100.  but they have been between 106-150 lately.  

Life and its takes on us.  X-mas was ok this year. We didnt get to spend alot of money on everyone. I made my mother in law a pillow with a latch hook rug on the top. I never got a good photo of that with  my camera before giving it to her.  but it turned out really nice.  The girls got some nice stuff this year. I got some fuzzy socks, and jammie pants. Jeff got a new tie, and two new pairs of sweats and MP3 player from Brianca and Doug.  I have alot more photo's but not now. I have some awsome shots from our hotel window when we went to Neenah WI about two weeks ago to a chess tournament. We havent been a mini vacation in ages.
